In North Carolina, counties do not own or maintain roads. The North Carolina Department of Transportation owns and maintains many of the roads in Brunswick County.  Others are maintained by a municipality or are privately owned and maintained. Additionally, the county also does not control stormwater conveyance along NCDOT roadways.

Street maps are available for purchase in the Brunswick County GIS office.

A street name search is available online. Note: this search does not show where the street or road is on a map. It merely shows existing street names, for use when naming a street.
